I have a 3-gang switch downstairs: one is 2-way for an upstairs light, the other two control downstairs lights. Right now, the left switch controls a light on the right hand side and vice versa. I want to swap the left and right switches so the 2-way switch is on the left.

What wiring would i need to move

Probably swap the wiring like for like from one switch to the other?

Any pics?

Thats what I was thinking, but didnt want to jump in incase I was missing something :)

Not got pics yet, its been on the to-do list for a while but only in my head and i keep forgetting. I walked past it on the way out just so thought id fire the question in before I forget again

Is it one way switches that need swapping? It might just be 2 wires that need swappin , but maybe not if separate circuits...

Post a clear picture when you get round to it.

Take the switch off, without disconnecting anything, and rotate it 180 degrees. Your two switches on the right, will then each need the wire in L1, moved to L2, or vice versa, so that off, is switch up.

These are some pics if anyone has a simple way of swapping the wires round. I like the idea of spinning 180 but not sure if the wires will still fit nicely if turning them

Swap the 2 blacks at the top that are in 1 way (I think)

Moe the bottom left grey feom 2 way to the bottom right but 1 2 way.

And swap the 2 browns from com to com (if they ate linked you might be able to leave the coms but I cant see properly, so just swap them.

Power off obviously...

Make sure you remember how to put it back as it is now incase it all goes wrong......shouldn't do though....
