Anyone sat the test yet? Is this more money needlessly being spent?
Still doesn't stop the cash/cowboy bandits doing jobs and telling the customer they need to sign it of through building control.

Haven't done it yet, Still waiting for them to send me the online test.
They are cutting it close now

My Fensa assessment guy did mention that its being used as a bit of a cash cow. They are failing the on job assessments on small things so they can charge you to do it again.
I was warned to go mad on the health and safety stuff. Hard hat, High vis, Steel toe caps, Goggles etc.

I had transition inspection, still don't know yet as it was a bit of a nightmare

Has anyone else not done their tests yet? Getting a bit worried now as I haven't heard back from them since they said they had received my basic skills form.

Mine was booked in for last Friday, had a funeral up in the Midlands in the morning, rushed back only for them to cancel!! Rebooked for this Saturday, to be honest I only know of 1 other fitter who has applied for the card.
We sub for a company who have 20+ fitters, not one has even heard about the MTC card!

Lol Ive only sent them the form (and £350 odd quid payment) so far about 4-5 months ago. Wont be impressed if they tested and failed me without even giving me the tests

I was talking to some lads from a local window company the other day. All their fitters were having a fry up in the local cafe, Not one of them knew anything about it lol. They only have 6 fitters and they were all there looking very confused when I asked them about it.
