A bit of a puzzle as to who was first. This was recorded by Ray Davies, but never released. Peggy Lee released it, and the Applejacks, and The Pretenders version is the one I suppose most people recognise, but this is better. Not sure if it is just Ray, or other members of the Kinks.

Almost as good as the original.

Listen to the original again: if you take out the vocals and listen to the beat you can hear the genesis of Trance, right there.

Bill Withers - Who Is She (And What Is She To You). I've always loved this song, but recently discovered Gladys Knight and the Pips did a cover of it, and it is absolutely brilliant!

I posted this in the other music thread, but a Finnish bluegrass cover of an AC/DC number has got to be worth a 2nd run out.

Brilliantly bonkers.

Never really listened much to ACDC back in the day, but their music has absolutely stood the test of time.
