my interior stable door.

I decided to take a god awful looking door and make a stable door out of it untill I can afford to replace all my interior doors and this is it so far.

Thoughts?

If I'm honest, it looks a bit out of place in the living room / hall. Don't you normally have stable doors at the back of farmhouse kitchens?

Yeah but i like to be different.

I have a small jack russ a 12 week old girl and 2 cats.

The reason I did it was because I don't really want a door there but I don't want a baby gate either and at night I can keep the cats and dog out off the living room and off the sofas.[/quote]

Yeah they do but when I posted the pic it wasnt finished I've added a top half to it now.

So heres the door semi finished. Just need to paint it and I think its not too bad for a temporarily door. Its different.
