Hi I'm in the process of getting quotes to fit a combi, when it's installed are they registered on a national data base please, and what is the additional cost please? as I have just asked a similar question for electrics, is someone trying to pull the wool over my eyes. Thanks in advance for your replies.

The installer will register with gas safe. Gas safe will issue a certificate of compliance to you. They will inform your local building control. It will be on a system but the certificate is all you will need.
