Borisconi and his minion have just bodged it up again...

"Pleased to see the removal of Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe's ankle tag," tweeted Boris Johnson.
"But her continued confinement remains totally unacceptable. She must be released permanently so she can return to her family in the UK, and we continue to do all we can to achieve this."
"Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab said "Iran's continued treatment of her is intolerable".

And of course borisconi is following his 'mentor' by tweeting instead of going through the normal channels...

yep nuke em before they can nuke some one else first

Israel will be the country to watch on the caper ;) they will not allow the Iranians to acquire the bomb ?
The risk of a pre-emptive nuclear strike is the best motive for acquiring nuclear weapons yourself.

Let us reverse the situation, I appreciate it might be difficult for you to consider another viewpoint, but bear with me:

Imagine UK does not have a nuclear deterrent. France is threatening to nuke UK if UK acquires a nuclear weapon.
The most important duty of a government is to protect its citizens.
What should UK do to protect itself against a pre-emptive French nuclear strike, or any other aggression that France is free to invoke due to its military superiority?
Should they be content to remain subordinate to the French for evermore? Suffer any indignities that France wish to impose?
Or should they try to acquire a nuclear deterrent, in secret, to ensure a MAD scenario?

The answer is blindingly obvious.

what the French threatening the UK with a nuclear strike , probably why we have nukes in the 1st place

not the Russians or who ever its the French ;)

Israel will not have a nuclear armed Iran , the Germans (merkel) said Iran must not get the bomb

As for that scoundrel Macron it would not come as any surprise if the French have been assisting the Iranians in there quest for the bomb

eventually the truth will out ;)

Is there ANY need to be pompous and overbearing at every opportunity? Can you not just stick to stating your view?..
Is there ANY need to persistently post your opinion on another poster at every opportunity? It's pompous and overbearing.
You never address the topic under discussion, you're always too concerned with addressing your comment about the person.
Can you not just stick with stating your view about the topic?
You suddenly very interested in the Royals LaL..

More like it fron you.

I suspect your nonsensical ramblings suggest that you have appreciated the example I gave.
It is precisely the motive for Iran to acquire nuclear weapons to defend themselves against Israel, and others.
Israel does have a notorious history of pre-emptive strikes, refusing to allow independent enquiries, and ignoring UN judgements.

Going back to my reverse scenario of another country being military more powerful than UK, I am in no doubt that UK would desperately seek measures to rebalance that military power struggle. It is the prime duty of government to protect its citizens, including protecting them against pre-emptive military strikes and enduring the unending consequences of military/political and commercial inferiority.

A typical response from a bigoted opinionated misinformed nobody. Not sure why anyone engages with this waste of internet bandwidth?

Totally agree DP, he/she constantly trolls for debate or they would be one lonely mofo.

Anyway i so hope they let this poor lady come back home :( breaks my heart to see her a pawn in this nasty game when her little girl is losing precious time that she could be spending with her mum. Some nasty bastards in this world.

Every need...to point out your rudeness,to give you an opportunity for reflection and enlightenment and curb your rudeness.Otherwise you stay blissfully arrogant and unaware of your deviant behaviour.Bit like telling off little jonny in the classroom...in the hope of stopping him growing into a twāt, for his own sake.

So do we all. But when we have a Foreign Secretary like BJ who briefs the press that the money will be repaid to Iran, which was lies, then he stand up and tells the world that she's really a journalist, I don't hold out much hope for her receiving any help from UK government.
Far from it, they've (well BJ) been a real hindrance so far.
