NEED HEATING URGENTLY

I need heating in a flat with no central heating. What is the most economical heating source I can have in the next few days?
I was thinking oil radiator but not sure on how it is with energy consumption Thanks

Oil rad or electric convector, almost instant heat, cheap to buy, portable.
As close to 100% efficiency as you can get.

I think you are over simplifying the issue!

A unit of energy can cost any amount, and with an electric heater almost 100% of that electrical unit gets turned into heat.

With gas or oil there is more wastage of the unit, through inefficient boilers and pipework. However for most people the unit costs a lot less than an electrical unit, so overall, the cost of heating is less.
