Need help identifying a light fitting

Hi all, hope someone can help here.

The thing is I moved into a flat last week, its not new, about 4 years old. It has in both bedrooms and in the living room a weird type of light fitting that I’ve never seen before (granted I know little about light fittings). I’ve asked the estate agents but they’re clueless.

Anyway it looks a little like this...

Only it has 6 little holes, not 4. I'm pretty sure it says something around the side about best being used with 50w bulbs but i'll have to confirm that.

Had a look around the Internet but am really struggling. Hopefully this is a simple question but if not I'll upload a picture tomorrow.

The bulbs you've linked to do look along the right lines however they are all 2 and 4 pins. I have attatched a few images of my light fitting...

Sometimes the holder has various holes but not all used,

My idea would be to replace them with something that takes the type of lamp you want to use....

The only cfl's with 6 pins I've seen are the 36watt ones in my stores, not alot of good for a pendant though they are 12 inch long.
