Need help replacing a float valve

Hello! First post here, looks like a nice and very useful forum :)

I'm just an idiot who knows nothing trying to make my bog work. My normal process for this sort of things is to identify the model, then find the manual, then do the fix. Turns out that identifying bog models is quite challenging!

Here's a pic of the guts.

I *think* it's an Ideal Standard or Gerberit Twico. Dual flush, with the modern "two buttons covering up a big plastic screw" setup. And I *think* I just need something like a Torbeck adjustable height valve to replace it with -

But that's not an exact replacement for the model in my cistern. That doesn't matter, right? Can I just get any old float valve?
