Hi all,
Hoping some of you out there can help me.
I'm trying to find a resource, book, website etc. that gives indepth analysis of joints used.
I want to know the pros and cons of each joints, which are the strongest in which directions etc.
I basically want something that adds some physics into the answers so I can choose the best joints for the job.
Many thanks

Can't suggest any particular book - I would have thought that almost any book on traditional woodworking techniques would cover this.

I can't help being intrigued however, as to why someone would be getting so worked up about joints in wood at three o'clock on a Sunday morning!

Cheers

It is the life of a shift worker for you. Its just a nice way to pass the time.

And no its not home work, that was quite a few years ago for me now.
