Hello I need some advice on the best way to board out the landing portion of the staircase. I have removed it due to putting my foot through the thing when installing cables and since it was loose anyway I removed the plaster.
Here is a photo of what im against. Im hoping to frame it and drop it down slightly to accommodate more cables (pay no attention to where I've drilled the joist its wrong I know)
What would be the best way? Any diagrams you may be able to know up will be highly appreciated.
