Neff double oven behaving strangely.

Have a Neff U1322N1GB.
On Xmas day half way thru cooking lunch it tripped the RCD.
At the time I was using both ovens and had just turned the main oven up from 200 to 220.
Switched everything off and reset the RCD. Switched oven back on but only the top oven was working.
Assumed main element had gone. After replacing the element the oven still wouldn’t work but a couple of days later it seems to be working.
The heating light comes on but I haven’t tested the oven fully.
Before I lay out money in a new oven has anyone got any ideas as to what might be happening?

The main oven won't come back on after a power outage until the timer is reset, however the top oven will.
Maybe the clock has now been set.

Yes, that is very common for ovens.
