Peeps,
Got to make an RJ45 to RJ11 cable for a customer whose floor socket has moved 6m away. Got the crimps etc but not sure on what pins to use on each plug. Tried a google search but had a few different set ups. What are the correct pins to use please. Most of the sites are US standards.
TIA
Jackc

If the socket was used before by a shorter cable why not just copy the pinout on the existing cable? - presumably you have a test meter that you can use?
