Neutralizing Link

Theres something in the ESQCR about consumers not using combining the neutral and protective functions in a single cable, not sure if it applies to Ireland tho.

Thanks for the replies i know im in ireland but i just wanted a technical idea of what would happen,obviously your not permitted by the rules to do it here either
 
Err, because the PEN conductor is grounded at several points along the way to lessen the likelihood of broken neutrals?

Didn't know they had electricity in Ireland, blimey! :LOL:
