It is ok (using 20mm conduit) to come back entry through a wall to a switch then tube up and away for the lights leaving the feed at the switch but taking the neutral straight up to the lights???????

can you have the neutrals in a connection at a light switch in the uk.Im in ireland and i think its ok.My boss once told us to wire t+e to switch and t+e from switch to light connecting the neutrals in connector blocks and wiring the other lives as usual
