New Asylum Seeker Housing Plans

Yes if you want to discuss it without calling me names and testing my academic prowess every reply I make..

Show where I did either of those things here:

And are you interested in distinguishing, or able to distinguish, between asylum seekers and immigrants who just want to move here to live and work?

Do you have any figures for how many "illegal" immigrants arrive via routes other than small boats? Because given that the latter represent about 5% of the size of total immigration into the UK, I wonder what figures you are using to justify your claim that "illegal migration" is a major problem.

Although I think this is a crazy policy that will almost definitely result in Labour losing votes, I also think that Zia Yousaf is an unelected turd who's only aim is to make people like you angry.
But he is only telling the truth and therefore if that makes me and others angry then perhaps you should be too?

Oh and look what I've found after a 2 minute internet search:

I'll also add this link for the gas-lit among us:

Yes actually on the beaches - just wait their for them to arrive instead of picking them up 12 miles away.
It's counterproductive to wait until they're in desperate need of rescuing, rather than rescue them early before the situation becomes desperate.

I'll say again, there's something very strange going on. A few weeks back on a tv prog like QT or similar, they mentioned two things IN THE SAME PROGRAMME!

1. We have many UK born folk unemployed and they need supported back into work.
2. We need the migrants to fill job vacancies.

Eh?

What?!?
In that scenario they're talking about skilled migrants that come via a visa and a job offer.
Yes they (who is they?) can train the unemployed, but that takes time, if the unemployed actually want to train and meet the minimum requirements.
Additionally, the unemployed may not be in the location needed to fill the vacancies.

What about the billions the Tories swindled from the tax payers for PPE contracts?
Yep them too glad we agree there also..why haven't they been held to account, only one I am aware of, outrageous that many have still got away Scott free.. back to the zero accountability that goes on. Baroness Mone.y still holds her title and in HOL and walked away with 80 million of hard earned money taken off many people who you would argue would have invested that money many times better than UK government authorities ever could or would.

Nope. They were saying those already here awaiting a decision could be working, so they're contributing. Not referring to highly skilled ones that come in via legal routes.

Nice try.

Well your previous post didn't clarify the difference, so either or both apply.

In keeping with Highway Man's uwillingness or inability to say whether here:

The whole of your statement above just shows the scale of the problem that we have. When people on here say that illegal migration is not a major problem or even a problem, well it is and it is one that we should be looking at how to stop the boats as well as removing these from our country.

the "illegal migration" he's talking about is asylum seekers in small boats, or people who just fancy coming here to live and work.
