OP please ignore the childish posts there is nothing wrong with your installation , you shopped around and got a decent job done at a really good price unfortunately Joe-90 gets a lot of peoples backs up as he posts so much shoite please just ignore his posts
Ha Ha give in Dan no I wouldnt have done it for that price either I am an expensive twot but the bloke has put in a decent boiler at a very decent price and made Joes day cos he never made £1000
He did go over stuff with me. I asked what the boiler stat should be set to as he said close to max and how to clean the TF1.
All i was wondering if what he said will make it max efficiency. I think the outlet was recorded at 85c and the return at 66c.
I am unsure how the pump overrun thing works with the system, i did see him taking the carpets up and putting an extra wire up where the pump is....but when ive been watching the pump it does seem to switch off when the boiler does, although its been only a couple days and not always managed to pop my head in the airing cupboard to have a lookie what its doing.
If your flow temp is 85deg with the boiler stat at the position the boiler stat is set at on youir pic then you've got some serious issues that need resolving before your hex gets cooked
Or your cheap as chips installer has just put the figures in that he think should be there ...... I hope its the latter or rather I dont as this will prove that sometimes cheap is cheap
