New Boiler Install-Advice Needed Please

Like other good installers I would recommend an Intergas, Viessmann or Vaillant in that order. Boilers about £950.

More important than the boiler make is that its carefully installed on a clean system.

It needs to be clean. How thats achieved depends on how dirty it is.

Power flushing is only needed if its very dirty and chemical treatment with the RIGHT products and for enough time can be totally adequate.

Not cleaning and fitting a magnetic filter is a common bodge favoured by many lazy installers.

I'm a good installer, and I believe the choice of preferred boiler is down to the installer. And the installer's experiences concerning the particular make of boiler. I think warranty support is also important.
Many budget boilers sold at one time or another have a bad reputation, much of this being down to poor or incorrect installation, and irregular servicing.
I fit Baxi Neta-tecs as my combi choice, I've had no issues with them and my customers think they're great.
As Tony posted, "Carefully installed on a clean system" is the most important. A long, well supported warranty is also good for peace of mind.
