Hi, need 2nd, 3rd, 4th opinion. Recently had a new boiler installed in our loft. Registered gas safe company, all good. 3rd day error code appeared, rang Worcester and they said error code not a problem use boiler as normal until their engineer comes along to sort. He came today, sorted the error, but warned us the boiler has not been fitted correctly as there are pipes in front of the boiler. The written report states Gas Safe Regulations that pipes should not be in front of the boiler less than 600mm. Hope that makes sense. Called the company that fitted the boiler and they said they had never heard of such a regulation and that they will call Worcester for clarification and get back to me. So which is correct. The written report states that our guarantee is null and void and that they will not carry out any future repairs/maintenance until pipes installed into the correct position.

Any advice much appreciated.

Exact model of boiler and a pic would help.
Maybe it's a struggle to remove the casing.

As above, probably the manufacturer's requirement for 600mm in front of the boiler for servicing.
