The tyre pressures on my new car are higher than it recommends on the sticker (fully loaded or otherwise) but lower than the max on the tyre.
Is there any reason why they might have done this or should I just deflate back to the sticker?
It's a 1.9 TDI SEAT Ibiza Sport. It has the thin sports profile tyres.

vehicles in storage often have the tyres pumped up hard, it reduces the effect of the rubber getting a flat spot on the bottom (true)

Thanks, I was thinking they just pumped up all their tyres to a set pressure for all models to save time.

Good to see the main dealer has done a nice thorough PDI check
