New Forum - For Sale?

Is there any milage in considering a 'For Sale' forum?

I accept that often contributors live many miles apart, sometimes different ends of the country or even different countries. If a 'For Sale' forum was available I'm sure contributors would advise on the locality/deliverability, etc of the items.

I'm obviously discounting the free advertising that would invariably be attracted and I'm talking second hand/surplus tools & materials, limited to DIY/building use.

If it's been suggested before, give me a minute to run for cover.
