A few weeks ago, I installed a new oven but when switching it on the oven wasn't working.

The supplier replaced it with a new one and this time I decided to closely observe if there was any life in the oven when switching on.

I plugged it in at the socket and noticed that the light inside the oven went on without any issues. However, when I switched it on to cook, the fuse blew again. I changed the fuse and the above happened again.

I'm assuming the socket is the problem. Has anyone got any ideas as to why the socket is failing (I recently had the flat refurbished including all new sockets).

I think I've just discovered what the problem is. I fitted a 3 amp fuse in the plug but I think it should be a 13amp fuse. Is this correct? The product is a Neff C57M70S3GB.
