This worked!! absolutely perfect! Perm Live was going into L1 so joined L1 with COM for loft switch.
Good to her you have it sorted, please do not now dismiss the advice I offered regarding proving the circuit is safe! I know you may think it a bit arsey, but it is in your best interest!
