I'm going to be replacing the radiator in my lounge and while I'm at it I'm fancying some nicer valves.
At the moment their is TRV on the radiator but the lounge is the room with the thermostat in it (no hallway in my little terrace house) So my questions are:
1. Am I right in thinking I don't need a TRV in this room?
2. Are standard wheelhead valves and lockshield valves basically the same thing with different caps.
3. Can I use matching chrome valves with matching caps for both or is that a bad idea?
Thanks
EDIT: the last question is probably redundant; I don't need posh valves on a bog standard radiator!
