Hello everyone, new to the forum, ive just moved into a property and my attention has now turned to the roof, I knew the roof wasn't in great shape when I bought the house and throughout the years there is evidence of repair jobs and replaced tiles.
The house was built somewhere between the years of 1920 and 1940.
Last night was a particularly windy night and I heard another roof tile slide to it's demise whilst sleeping, the felt is non existent in areas and in other areas it's so degraded you can literally poke your finger through it.
What I'm asking is what would be the approximate cost of removing the existing slate tiles, re batten, re felt and re instate the existing tiles,
