New samsung washine machine

Hi,

New to the forum. Would appreciate some advice. Got a new washing machine trying to install it. Only think I can't figure out is the waste pipe.

The waste pipe has been extended. The extended pipe and washing machine pipe fit perfecting in the reducer pictured. But the new washing machine pipe is slightly different and doesn't fit in the slot the old one did. I have attached a picture of the new pipe. Any advice on how to connect it would be good. Hope that all makes sense

That appears to have those grooves , where as the inside of the new pipe is smooth , so will that still be OK? I know the old one had grooves on the inside meaning it fit snuggly.

As long as you get the correct size and a clip for each pipe they will be fine
