Hi

Just installed plastic fence at end of garden (Keter 6 * 6). Problem is that shed is now visible above existing feather edge fence and I need something to cover it up.

Garden backs onto busy main road and there have been some thefts recently.

Can you suggest how I can extend the existing fence without having to replace the existing feather edge.

Many thanks

lattice and creeper

or prickly thorny plant such as roses

Thanks

Just thought that there was some sort of specialist feather edge extender.

As suggested, security type planting is probably the best deterrent but it takes some time to grow. We had a mass of blackberry bush & climbing roses along side the fence at our previous property which bordered a quiet public footpath; no one will want to climb through that.

If you go higher than 6’ 6” with the fence, your LABC may make you take it down if they spot it or it’s reported as anything higher than that requires Planning Permission.
