New shed roof -EDPM ?

Hi guys, over the next few days I’ll hopefully be building a ( kit) shed with a pent roof.
I’m toying with the idea of ditching the supplied roofing felt ( heavy duty, polyester backed, apparently can’t rip ) and replacing it with a EPDM layer, but getting contradictory advice on how to stick it down. Can I still use the adhesive that comes with the kit ( as mainly for OSB) roofs, or , because my roof is T &G, should it be contact adhesive ?

Usually water based on large areas and contact adhesive at edges ( too difficult use contact over a large area).On a small shed you could just secure edges , either glue or fixings.
