Hi all i decided to wire in a new timer and room stat to a ideal logic 30 he.
The timer is a Salus 7 Day Programmer Single Channel Volt Free
http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Hea...r+Single+Channel+Volt+Free/d230/sd2732/p58054
And the room stat is Corgi RS1 Room Thermostat

I am struggling with the room stat side of it in that i cannot get it to switch on / off the boiler.
The timer on its own is ok just goes west when i try to wire in the stat .
I have three connections on the stat but think i only need to use 2 ?
Can anyone point me where i'm going wrong please.

The Salus needs to be wired for 230Vac operation

Following has been corrected

You will need two wires to the thermostat.

Live from Salus On terminal to terminal 1
Switched Live (terminal 2) to Boiler S/L terminal

This thermostat appears to need just term 1 and 2 connected.

It is a badged TFC one, looks cr&p to me. Like most of their stuff, tbh.

Thanks for the input lads, i'm using the room stat volt free does that alter things ?

Can you clarify which boiler you have? The GC number is the best identifier.
