installed a 6lt WC in place of a 9lt.
correct fall
Upstairs location
replaced offset pan connector for a standard straight pan connecter, this is used between a 90degree pan connector and the 110 branch.
run to 110 soil and vent branch = 50cm.
vent termination appears to be clear.
drop valve correctly set up.
water level in cistern correct
no blockages between cistern and pan.
water seems to fall more on one side of the pan than the other
no blockages apparent, checked inspection covers and thrown buckets of water down pan with no sign of backfilling whatsoever.
When first installed (with offset pan connector) they complained about backfilling of pan, plunged it and backfilling ceased (i put it down to the offset pan connecter but could it be something else?) hasnt done it since
I beleive it is worth cutting the the vent pipe to check for nests etc.. as in my mind it seems to be inadequate air entering the system.
any other ideas, great minds of the forum?
