just fitted new toilet and was suprised to find no fixing holes in the cistern, is this normal,its just that the cistern doesn't seem all that secure.
 
Could be a manufacturing fault, but I wouldn't trust it to hold.

Can you not drill 2 holes in it carefully and fix using a couple of tap washers and screws. :D
 
A lot of modern cisterns are made like that, I tend to put two large blobs(technical term) behind the cistern to stop movement, and yet still easy to remove, if needed.

:roll: :roll: Thats scary stuff bahco !! Not impossible.... just scary.

Do you think the porcelain would crack if drilling was attempted with a tile drill done very carefully. I've never tried it but on paper it looks possible.
Anybody else think its a no-no. :D
