I would like to change our toilet. The svp is coming in from the side so I'm guessing we would need to have a new toilet with an external cistern like it is at the moment, or if I want a concealed cistern I guess I would need to build some sort of false wall to contain it?

Is this correct?

Many thanks in advance.

You're right - a boxing with a back to wall pan, cistern concealed . You might get a close coupled one with the cistern on top of the pan to fit the soil pipe. You can measure @ a showroom.

I see Homebase sell an external cistern; plastic for £35. Could I box it in easy enough?
