hi all,
could anybody help me with a prob on this oven please,i can light the oven but it stays on low flame, i ordered a new oven stat which i went to collect and the guy in the shop tells me that he thinks its the other bit inside the oven that has probably gone not the stat, but the other phile in the oven is a fsd/ffd which connects to a solanoid,as this is a flame recognition device the fact that i can get a low flame surely indicates that this device is working? and therefore its the oven stat that is at fault?

thanks in advance

it is ffd as it comes on low rate, which is sensed by ffd then allowing full gas rate, this should be done by a RGI

hi all,
ok got the ffd fitted today, still no joy so got the the oven stat fitted as well, still no joy,i then find out that the man in the shop made the ffd from two other ffd's to match 1 up for my oven, so is it likely that the made up 1 is also faulty or not compatable with the oven? rang another corgi man and he says its def the ffd at fault, could it be anytthing else?

thanks in advance

FFS its basic its the ffd, Have you checked that the probe is actually sitting in the flame and the burner has not got some sh#te on it .
And WTF is the guy in the shop playing at, he is a half wit

A little less cordial than he is used to i would imagine. ;)
