The MWC (MEIWC to be pedantic) is a type of electrical installation certificate for minor works. Part 4 of the MWC has a decleration for you to sign to say it complies with BS7671, as BAS says - if the current carrying capacity of the cable as installed > current setting of the protective device > design current isn't satisfied then it won't comply.

Get a broom handle. Push it through the top handle of a large watering can (garden type). Fasten assembly above bath or shower cubicle. Screw a hook/eye in the ceiling. Attach string to side handle and pass over hook/eye down to a weight. To operate pull string. No electrical problems, or cost. No plumbing problems. Completly safe and very affordable.
