Newish build house with no PIR upstairs for alarm system, is this common?

It’s astonishing the folks that don’t have any PIRs upstairs just so they can go to the loo during the night.

Here in lies one of the problem with DIY installs

I figured that's what part set modes are for right? I didn't have a choice, as a new build it seems they never had any PIR fitted upstairs on any of them by design. Why I'm not sure, cost saving maybe, but one extra PIR doesn't seem that much more effort considering when it was being built running cabling would of been easier, before walls plastered etc.

Maybe I'm lucky and there is wiring up in the loft space, or maybe I'll look into adding a wireless PIR, if my alarm system can support a wireless receiver.
 
Cpl8 doesn’t support wireless you can get a standalone receiver and detector but your going to be paying over £100 for the pair …
