Newlec NL880 bathroom fan

I need to replace a bathroom fan. It is a Newlec NL880. I have had it down and cleaned it, but I think it is just old and worn out.

Can anyone please tell me is there is a straight forward replacement? Also, the fan measures 6” square, but the Internet seems to make out the NL880 is 4”.

The 4" refers to the diameter of the outlet - i.e. the hole in the wall.

Any of the cheap 4 inch fans from the likes of Screwfix, Toolstation, etc.

or you can get a good-quality modern one, with a ball-bearing motor, that will run near-silently and will not quickly wear out, and will run for 125 hours on about 12p worth of electricity. It will also probably shift more air than your old one.

I have gone for the SIL100. It seems much better quality than my old one. Thanks for the helpful replies.
