First of all welcome to the site and congrtulations on your exam results.
The best way to get volunteery work is contact as many of the local electrical installers as you can in your area or put up flyers in the electrical wholesalers (if they will let you) but there has not been that much work about and companies are not that keen to set on regardless of you being free labour.

Yes, Prenticeboy raises a red flag that's an issue. You see, you don't live that far from me.

You would be cheaper than me.

Lets say I take you on - I do quite a lot of work for local builders. They aren't stupid and have no loyalties.
In a year's time my work dries up because you're doing it.

However, you never know if a big one came up...and I need some help.
