Hi

We have the Toona 4024 arms installed to the gates to our estate and they are working fine. However, due to the number of properties on the estate, we have issues form time to time whereby one resident is exiting as one is arriving. They both press the fob (on2e) to open the gate but it just stops the gate mid opening, then it has to be pressed again to close, then again to start opening again. As you can imagine this causes a lot of messing around, especially when both parties start trying to do it at the same time.
Therefore is there a way to program one button to only open the gates if they are closed, or not already opening, and the other button to only close the gates if they are not closed already? The close button will be used rarely, but just provides an option.

TIA

Craig

After the death of Semelia Campbell the practice of electricians fitting or servicing electric gates stopped.

Today you need to get a specialist firm, OK Cheshire Gates and Automation Limited was a specialist firm, but that points out how easy it is for mistakes to be made. It is possible the stopping of the gate is part of a safety feature.
