Purchased a nissan tino last year after i had one for 3 years and no problems at all.
Within 3 months my wife noticed that she could not get the car open with the VOB,switch on the key ring.
I tried but no luck.Eventually got the garage involved they could not get the car open straight way either.The mechanic said that there was a signal blocking it.
When we did get open we drove it away with no problems,but it has failed god knows how many times since then.Though the last 3 months have been good.Nissan have changed the ignition barrel and we thought we had cracked it,but xmas day it started again not opening then not locking.
According to Nissan it was a n isolated case but i am hearing that this has happened with other cars not just Nissans.
Can any of the site readers let me know if they have heard of this happening.
