Nissan X Trail Aventura 2008 oil leak

Hi, I have just bought a used Nissan X Trail Aventura 2008 oil leak, no advisorys on MOTs for last 3 years and appears in good condition. Except there is an oil leak. It appears to be coming from high up (I'm no expert). I've put quite a bit of oil in and still the dash is saying low oil. I took some photos, take a look... any ideas?

Does the car have a dipstick? Much more reliable than the level sensor.
Re the oil leak, it doesn’t look serious from here but it’s time to remove some of the pipes in the area and give us some other photos. At the top of the engine the usual suspect is the rocker cover but that’s only a guess.

I think at 2008, that will be a T31 X-Trail with the Renault engine? I can't help with the question, but when we had a T30, this was a very good forum with some really helpful / knowledgeable folk on it:
