no heat on a crusader ct61c dryer

I have just replaced the thermostats and heater on my crusader ct61c, worked fine on my workbench, and when all panels replaced, itted back in kitchen where it fails now to heat, wife claimed she smelt some burning, though none now as just blows cold.

Can the thermostats blow so quickly?, dont think its the element as coils look fine. Is there something else i'm missing, dryer drum and rear fan all work fine, just no heat. Is there a way i can tell if the thermostats have blown.

Yes easy way is to remove the stat on the back are they concaved on the little disc. If so it on the floor a few times till it's not concaved.

Sorry, but not sure i understand your answer,i thought the thermostats were
sensitive items

the are one shot some time they pop when u fit them and by accident push the stat disc in
