I'm hoping someone could help as my dad's 18/25 Heatslave has stopped firing and no one can come out til next week.

He's got plenty of oil, so it's not run dry. I thought maybe it needed bled but that hasn't helped. The condensate pipe was blocked with crap, so I've cleaned that out and cleared the secondary heat exchanger. I also replaced the fuel burner nozzle.

The boiler gets power but the fan or pump doesn't spin up (no noises other than relays clicking before lockout code.

Could anyone advise? I take it there's a fuel filter I could change? The only engineer that even got back to me is saying it'll be 5 days before he can make it!

Thanks for the reply Exedon, where's the fan accessible, is it at the rear or at the top (where the flexi ducting feeds in)?

Thanks Exedon, managed to get it sorted, I'm not sure why but the hive wasn't triggering properly
