NO HOT WATER(HELP PLEASE)

so does this mean that the valve in the picture is faulty and if so is it the motor that can be replaced or do I have to drain everything and replace the whole unit.
 
As in post about 7 back, it can be just the motor, or the actuator/head , or the brass part too.
Sounds like yours may be just the "synchron" motor. £14 or so in the sheds. Easy to test if you can use a multimeter. ABout 2000 Ohms.
The motor drives the valve open and it returns by spring power.
