Just like to thank you guys, i had to get a heating engineer in, to change the 3-port valve, i was going to take the back off there and then, but i didnt want to mess with electrics, so thought il get someone one in. It wouldn't of been easy to take back off, as it was held on by twist tabs, and i couldnt get my pliers in.
I asked for it to be left so i could have a look, as soon as i took it apart, i could see the inside the valve was set to heating, and no matter on setting on lever nothing was happening, as soon as i removed the motor, it sprang back, it then allowed me to move the inner bit with the lever, and when set to MAN it changed the diverter to allow both. The motors cog was all ****ted up and it took a twist to free it, i have new one on now, honeywell.
Once again thankyou for help it was much appreciated
