We had a MegaFlow system installed about 6 years ago. I regularly re-pressurize the system, last time about 2 weeks ago.
Just this week, very early in the morning, when the boiler is on, it seems to be making a loud banging/knocking noise which wakes up the whole house.. I am fairly sure that it is the MegaFlow and not the boiler (Potterton) which is positioned behind it in the loft.
The banging stops and starts over a period of a couple of hours and then stops altogether.
Also, sometimes we run out of hot water in the morning (maybe not relevant).
