Oil/bitumen sands of Alberta.

Our needs in 2025 will be 120 million barrels of oil per day.
No they won't. The high price will cause demand to drop.

The NEEDS will be but it seems unlikely we will ever top 90 mbpd, By 2025 it's expected we'll have around 70mbpd assuming that there is no military conflict in the Middle East (fat chance).

This means the best scenario is that there will be huge oil shortages and prices that make oil too uneconomic to use. This will make all economies contract - recede - recession - depression - starvation. It's simple maths, John.

Israel has stated in the past that it will not tolerate a nuclear armed Iran. .

I have stated many times in the past that I'll not tolerate any more bad behaviour from my kids...but they always manage that little bit extra...

Anyway, if anyone 'nukes' Iran then surely that will be the end of oil production as the whole place will be too radioactive to enter...and if they don't 'nuke' it but use conventional weapons then won't Iran have time to react with their own nukes?

At the end of the day China and Russia will determine what course of action is taken. Russia is building the Iranian nuclear plants and claims that there is no evidence that any of their technology has been used for weapons purposes. China couldn't care less about anything other than the oil they currently have secured with Iran. Their biggest security threat is an American invasion and control over oil that currently goes to them.
With supply basically at its peak, they will deal with anyone to fulfill their growing thirst for oil. Ditto for India. At the end of the day this all means Israel and the United States will have to go it alone and in the face of massive worldwide opposition. Frankly after Iraq, any evidence this administration presents to the UN about Iran will be dismissed as fabricated.

There is no need for America to invade Iran to get its oil, the Iranians already sell it to anyone who wants to buy it. What this is all about is security for Israel.

Israels aim is to drag the west into the middle east under the pretext of a war on terrorism, this will undermine the moral and financial support that other Arab countries provide for the palestinians, this will induce the palestinians to accept the State of Israel as fact of life.

Israel may have a lot of nuclear weapons but it also has a lot of enemies,it should be remembered that Israel is a tiny state it would only take one well targeted nuke and Israel would be no more.
