Hello All.

My oil boiler (Worcester Danesmoor 15/19, year 2000) was on all day yesterday with no issues, but today it keeps locking out.

It fires up ok, but a few minutes later, it stops burning, and then locks out.... which keeps repeating if you reset it.

Things I have checked so far:

1. Plenty of oil in the tank.
2. Fuel pump has been bled.
3. Photocell seems to be working. I have taken it out and covered it, and the boiler switches off straight away (incidentally, you can see the flame looking down the hole, so it is definitely burning).
4. All sounds completely normal until it locks out.

I have ordered a new nozzle, so am going to try that.

Any other ideas?

It wasn't serviced last year, but was the year before.... I have a service booked for a few weeks time but would like to get it working now if I can...

Many thanks

Thanks.. is the coil more likely to be the culprit rather than the solenoid itself, as I notice they are two separate parts?
