Oil Boiler will not continue to run

Thanks for response. Photo cell was not the problem. I bought a new one and the same symptoms. I have had to bite the bullet and call an engineer in. He thinks the problem is to do with the pump as the induction system is not switching the oil supply off. The ignition system continues to run so could also imply control box but I've ordered a replacement pump and see where I go from there.

New to this forum. Came across a posting from 'softoptions' from April 2008. Just wondering if softoptions sorted out his boiler problems as I have the exact same problem - cutting out after 20secs. If he did sort it out can he let me know what the solution was? Many Thanks.
