Oil tank not quite empty, but no oil getting to boiler

Yikes a lot has happened here since yesterday!

I opened the bleed valve and tried running the boiler and no oil was coming out so I assume its not getting as far as the boiler.

I done some checks last night and determined:

The oil in the tank is below the level of the pickup point, explaining why its not getting to the boiler.

The pipe from the tank to the boiler seems fine along its whole length.

The oil should have been delivered today while Im at work, so ill know tonight if it all works lol.

Oh and yes I have bought a shiny padlock for the tank

Mike, do let the oil settle before you use it, or you could drag through any sludge.

***** had 200 ltrs from our tank at work. They unscrewed the filter and let it run straight into the can they even pinched the empty cans we had for the glycol.
