OK I have a new aerial but still got problems...please help!

Where abouts are you in Devon? I maybe able to offer some advice.

80m is far too far without a masthead amp. You may even need to fit an amp half way too!

It can get a little bit tricky - you can end up amplifying too much......It can be a little trial and error without test kit and experience.

I'm in North Devon, about 10 miles south of Barnstaple.

I'm in S molton 10 miles to the east of Barnstaple i can get freeview with no problem and its from huntshaw cross.My aerial is twenty years old but its got a booster,so you ought to pick up freeview ok.

Im 5 mile west of Barnstaple. Huntshaw for me too, and alls good.

Its the issue of the valley and long cables here...
